For the Love of Africa, its People, and Fun: African Bush Camps Foundation Active Day
On May 14th, we give you 30 minutes of healthy fun for a $10 donation to the African Bush Camps Foundation
In-Person, Virtually, and In Camp
Ten bucks doesn’t go as far as it used to – not even just a couple of months ago. We point this out not to be flippant, but with the profound realization that what you pay for goods and services these days likely won’t provide equivalent satisfaction in return. So, let us brighten your day by inviting you to join the annual fundraiser for African Bush Camps Foundation (ABCF) on May 14, 2022. Your participation in our Active Day of running, walking, practicing yoga, or cycling, you’ll not only feel better because you’ve gotten up, out, and moving again, but also because your contribution of just $10 to join in the fitness and fun will make an enormous difference in Africa.
Take our word for it. Every penny donated will go to a worthy cause ranging from education and skill development of local African populations, to the improvement of the human-wildlife conflict (minimizing the loss of livestock due to predation by wild animals) throughout Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
Still not feeling it? Take a look at the video message above from Beks Ndlovu, Founder of African Bush Camps and ABCF, and Koinonia Baloyi, Communications and Fundraising Officer.
We really go all the way when we move for a good cause! Funds raised will go towards our Maunga Clinicin Zambia, Kachikau Primary School Disability Unit in Botswana, and Ranger Program projects in Zimbabwe. Meantime, all participants have a chance to win a 2-night stay for two guests at one of African Bush Camps’ 17 camps in Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana.
