Torres del Paine Conservation Reserve

Conservation Reserves is an ambitious project that seeks to solve the underfunding problem of conservation. The idea is the scientific operation of fragile and unique ecosystems worldwide. The business model operates with land acquired for conservation, and as a first step, the land receives legal environmental protection. Funding is based on using less than 2% of land for hospitality, exploration (trails and access roads), and operation. Explora designed the innovative model and launched it initially in South America in December 2022. The concept is globally scalable and will expand worldwide. The expedition company owns and operates lodges and explorations in remote places in South America.
