Jacada Travel Expands Positive Impact Collection with New Curated
Travel Experiences
Jacada Travel, a leader in positive impact luxury travel, is proud to announce the expansion of its Positive Impact Collection with over 40 new curated travel experiences.
From a purpose-driven gorilla trek in Rwanda to exploring New Zealand’s Bay of Islands with a Maori elder, these new experiences join nearly 100 properties already part of the collection—each one making a measurable, positive contribution to the world. This expansion further strengthens Jacada’s ongoing commitment to sustainable travel and responsible tourism.
Curated Experiences That Align with
Global Sustainability Goals
The new experiences have been developed in collaboration with Jacada’s trusted local partners across Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. Each has been carefully evaluated using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a framework—addressing pressing global issues such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and biodiversity loss.
These experiences offer both transformational value to travelers and tangible benefits to host communities. Guests are invited to engage meaningfully with local people, support environmental conservation, and participate in programs that uplift historically underrepresented groups—including indigenous communities, women, and ethnic minorities. Every experience is thoughtfully aligned with Jacada’s Positive Impact Principles.

Immersive, Expert-Guided Experiences that
Create Lasting Impact
The experiences have a strong focus on hands-on activities in reflective and immersive settings, with guided interpretation and expert-led storytelling throughout. Themes include regenerative agritourism, environmental restoration or protection, preservation of cultural heritage, the development of economic resilience for vulnerable communities, and wildlife conservation.
The expansion of the Positive Impact Collection follows strong growth in client interest, with subscribers to Jacada Travel’s Positive Impact newsletter having increased nearly 200 percent since the start of summer 2024. Results from Jacada’s 2025 client survey also showed that supporting local communities and preserving cultural heritage are values that have risen in importance among travelers since last year, an upward trend that shows Jacada’s clients are increasingly seeking to explore the world through a responsible lens.

Leadership Perspectives on Travel as a Force for Good
Alex Malcolm, Founder of Jacada Travel, explains:
One of the most important ways that we make a difference for our clients is the quality of the experiences they have day-to-day, outside of the properties they choose to stay at. It’s through these experiences that they can really connect with people and places that they’re visiting. That’s why I’m thrilled to announce these new experiences as part of our Positive Impact Collection. A long time in the making, the experiences are such a key part of how we can make change on the ground and help our clients’ travel become a force for good. What’s more is that these kinds of experiences are the most rewarding, creating a deeper connection and memories that remain long after the trip is over.”
Natalie-Lyall Grant, Head of Positive Impact, adds:
“The launch of these experiences marks the next chapter in our commitment to utilize the power of travel to drive positive change at a global level. These experiences will empower clients to make responsible choices that are intended to have a transformational level of impact on host destinations, through the regeneration of landscapes, conservation of wildlife or through the preservation of cultural heritage or development of economic resilience for communities – in particular, those who have been historically or culturally marginalized from involvement in tourism.”
