African Bush Camps prides itself on working with the best guides in the respective countries in which ABC operates; Founder and professional guide Beks Ndlovu launched what many now lovingly refer to as “ABC” in 2006 and embraced his company’s role as steward of all the destinations it calls home.
With 17 luxury tented bush camps and lodges surrounded by untouched wilderness, African Bush Camps draws travelers from around the world to discover the beauty of the bush and the authentic cultures of the communities around it. ABC guides gently mold the experience guests have on safari. They are confidants, navigators and often become friends. Guides are storytellers who frame the wild’s happenings around you and provide insight into the African bush’s incredible sights and sounds.
Every year ABC closes down all camps for a week and gathers all guides in one place at ABC’s first camp, Somalisa. It is a time of enthusiastic sharing of stories, knowledge, and love for all things wild. The company prides itself on inspiring the next generation of the best safari guides. With over 600 years of guiding collectively, one can only imagine the enthusiasm and wisdom that abounds and the stories told around the campfire.
