The Collection now spans 31 countries, including the first properties in the Middle East, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Nepal. The Power of Travel Choices
Jacada Travel is pleased and proud to make the Positive Impact Collection available to encourage travelers of all types to make choices that can make a real difference in the world. Stays at these properties represent a powerful way to magnify the impact on a destination. When done right, tourism becomes a force for positive change.
Choosing properties committed to positive impact benefits travelers who are motivated to use their investment in travel for long-term impact, enabling them to choose luxury hotels, boats, and camps that align with their values, contribute to the well-being of destinations, and foster a more responsible and respectful way of exploring the world.
“We’re incredibly excited to expand our Positive Impact Collection to 31 countries with 19 new properties, offering travelers new ways to contribute to meaningful initiatives across our three pillars: community, climate, and conservation,” said Natalie Lyall-Grant, Positive Impact Manager at Jacada Travel, who led the initiative and the launch of the Collection.
Impact at the Forefront, Not an Afterthought
The Jacada Travel Positive Impact Collection is built on an evidence-based approach to evaluating sustainability. Properties included are dedicated to fostering long-term positive change by implementing a range of initiatives that align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They are distinguished by placing the role of addressing social and environmental challenges at the core of their business, purpose, and vision.
Those included have been meticulously evaluated through a large-scale audit and scored according to a rigorous methodology, confirming their actions for community and environment meet the highest standards.
Each property provides exceptional experiences that make a meaningful difference, ensuring every trip can be a small step toward a more responsible and compassionate world.
Highlights of the Expanded Collection
Jacada Travel is delighted to introduce the Positive Impact Collection’s first property in the Middle East: The remarkable Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman, which collaborates with the Olive Ridley Project to monitor and protect nearby green turtle populations.
In South Africa, the 2,500-hectare Grootbos Private Reserve joins the collection, offering travelers the opportunity to support local conservation projects as they embark on botanical safaris, bird-watching experiences, and whale spotting.
In Latin America, travelers can explore the wonders of Brazil with a stay at the Ibiti Project or immerse themselves in the Amazon at Tambopata Research Centre in Peru, where guests are invited to join the Citizen Scientist program and discover new species alongside scientists.
From Europe, the Collection welcomes two exceptional properties: Six Senses in Rome and Herdade da Malhadinha Nova in Portugal. Both demonstrate a genuine commitment to improving social and environmental welfare.
