Hotel AWA, Las Balsas, and The Untold Patagonia collaborate to offer travelers a seamless itinerary blending design, conservation, and authentic local culture
Patagonia has many scenic routes, but only one blends design, sustainability, and discovery in a single, seamless journey. B Route Patagonia is a new 10-day immersion into the less-traveled corners of southernmost South America—an all-inclusive guided experience celebrating Slow Travel and regeneration through connection with nature, culture, and community.
Anchoring the Chilean side of the route, Hotel AWA, a striking Brutalist-designed boutique hotel on Lake Llanquihue, welcomes travelers to the heart of the experience.
The B Route unites two countries, three provinces, and two national parks—bound by a shared purpose to connect travelers with the spirit of Patagonia.” — Mauricio Fuentes, General Manager and Co-Owner of Hotel AWA

Three Boutique Lodges, One Regenerative Vision
The exclusive B Route Patagonia itinerary connects three independent boutique properties:
- Hotel AWA, Puerto Varas, Chile
- Las Balsas, Villa La Angostura, Argentina
- The Untold Patagonia, Bariloche, Argentina
Each is a Certified B Corporation, recognized by B Lab for meeting rigorous social and environmental performance standards. Hotel AWA proudly became Chile’s first B Corp-certified hotel in 2020.
Guests enjoy multi-night stays at each lodge, with locally sourced cuisine, guided explorations, and authentic cultural encounters designed to reflect and respect each destination’s natural and human heritage.
“More than a journey, B Route Patagonia is a manifesto,” says Nahuel Alonso, CEO and Founder of the B Route and its parent company Esencia Patagonia. “It reveals the extraordinary beauty of these landscapes and the people who care for them—inviting moments of stillness, creativity, and transformation.”
